You may not need this as desperately as you think, since you can actually type the command in on the start menu in most cases. But if you prefer the Run menu (one feature you may miss is its saving a history), you can either type WIN+R (windows key and R at the same time) or put it permanently on the Start Menu by following the instructions below:\n\nTo add the Run command back to the Vista Start Menu, follow these steps:\n\n 1. Right click the Taskbar in an open area\n 2. Click on Properties\n 3. Click on the Start Menu tab\n 4. Click the Customize button to get to the Customize Start Menu\n 5. Scroll down the list until you find the Run command checkbox and check it (See Figure B).\n 6. Click OK and the Run command will now appear on the Start Menu.\n

You may want to start by saving an empty TiddlyWiki and a couple of good tutorials. Here's how:\n\nBecause the entire TiddlyWiki is just one HTML file, you've actually already downloaded the entire software just by viewing this site. If you would like to have your own blank fresh TiddlyWiki to work with, just click [[ here|empty.html]].and select 'Save link as...' or 'Save target as...'. Step 1: Create a shortcut to Explorer\n\nRight click on an empty portion of your desktop, select NEW and then SHORTCUT. When prompted for the application, use BROWSE and point to explorer.exe in your \sWindows folder. OR, copy an existing Explorer shortcut.\n\nStep 2: Modify the target parameters\n\nRight click on your shortcut and select PROPERTIES (unless it's already open.) You may see the text "%SystemRoot%" in front of Explorer, it can be deleted or left there as you prefer. Default in Vista is for the Start Menu to use large icons. If you want to fit more on the menu, you may want to go with smaller icons.\n\n 1. Right click the Taskbar and click on Properties\n 2. The Start Menu has got to be the best new feature of Vista. I love it! In fact, the Start Menu can help overcome many of your initial Vista problems (where did they move that?). Use the Start Menu to:\n\nFind a program - just start typing in its name and it should appear.\nType Network to get to the Network & Sharing Center.\nType dev to get to Device Manager\nIf you are looking for ANYTHING try typing it in the start menu.\netc etc

A WikiWord is a compound word, and it is also a link to another tiddler. A WikiWord in this TiddlyWiki is golden and clickable. If you see WikiWords that are in italics like this one, then that tiddler does not exist.
