Cookies. I made up the servings, I have no idea.
Yields: 24 Servings


Ingredients

1 cup Shortening softened
1 1/2 cups Sugar
2 Eggs
2 3/4 cups Flour sifted
2 teaspoons Cream of Tartar
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1/2 teaspoon Salt
Cinnamon
Sugar


 
Instructions
Blend together the shortening, sugar, and eggs. Sift together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Roll dough into balls the size of walnuts. Roll in mixture of 2 teaspoons cinnamon and 2 tablespoons sugar. Place balls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 8-10 minutes. Remove and allow to cool. Note: Cookies puff when they begin to bake and then flatten out with crinkled tops.
Note from Carolyn: I buy "slice and bake" sugar cookies, make them into balls, roll them in cinnamon and sugar, and bake. They are almost as good.
